What do you call a vicar on a bike? ... A cyclist!

Hello,

Today we completed our first day of cycling. We started by dipping our bike tyres in the sea. We then went along a path where there was sand, pebbles and water. Were were a bit worried that it was going to be like this the whole ride as we were going about 3mph. We then settled into our ride and had a cake and milkshake. Were then had a lovely down hill which went on for about 1 mile. It was perfect bevause it wasnt flat enough for us to have to peddle but it wasnt steep enough for us to put our brakes on. We then met our friends in whitehaven and watched the red arrows. Thanks for the comments. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Neve :-)

  2. Well done Neve and Euan, I hope the weather there is better than we have here (24 hours of really heavy rain). We spent the whole day watching the Jubilee celebrations, very enjoyable! You seem to have coped quite well with conditions on your first day, I suppose the cake and milkshake helped and being able to meet your friends was nice. Good luck for tomorrow,so proud of both of you, love Grandma & Grandpa xx

  4. Well done Neve & Euan - day 1 over and you should now be fast asleep! As usual I'm bringing up the rear with my comments on the way to bed! Not had nearly as energetic day as you - been watching the Jubilee Celebrations - they should have held them here as no rain in Godalming this afternoon! Good Luck for Day 2 -hope the weather is fine and you have a good day with a few treats to help you on your way. Lots of love N & G xx

Hello all and well done to the four of you for the first day! Weather shocking here so you missed nothing in Alton yesterday, the castle BBQ and picnic was cancelled! Will keep reading to see how you're getting on. Keep the bees away from your mum! Love Ali, Steve, Charlie and Joel x
