What do you call a cyclist at the top of a hill? ... Happy!

Hello,

Today started with a lovely breakfast at the restaurant next to the hotel we were staying at. We then started our bike ride and we soon came across a wind farm and could look across the sea and see Scotland! Our waitress had recommended in Alonby for us to get an ice cream. We didn't think it was anything special but any excuse! We then had a 10 mile ride to our hotel where there was another festival going on for the jubilee. We are now sitting in a restaurant about to eat our meal.

Thank you so much for all your coments; we really love reading them all.

Neve :-)

  1. Hello happy cyclists you do seem to have it all, good food, beautiful scenery and decent weather and of course ice cream. Keep up the good work, looking forward to your next blog and photos. Love to all, Grandma & Grandpa

  2. Hi Neve & Euan - think I'm even later tonight but we have been to AJ's with lovely Thomas! Well done for today's ride - looks beautiful - scenery and you and can't see any sign of tiredness! Weather looks so good too - not much rain today but it has turned very cold - almost had to put my vest back on! Hopefully the bad weather won't reach you, so here's to another fair weather cycling day tomorrow (or today if you're reading this in the morning!). Have fun - lots of love N & G xx

  3. Hi
We can read your blogs on the phone but can't comment back so I've had to pop done to the local bar to use their wifi - it's tough!
Well done on day 2 - great photos and ice cream is always great but I suspect it tasted even better having done so much cycling.
Best of luck for day 3 and we all hope that the weather holds for you, love K, J, A & T
